He said that there are approximately 65 lakh women voters. If we exclude government employees, tax payer women and pensioners, there will be approximately 45 lakh women who will get the benefit of 'Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana'.

Which women will get the benefit and which will not?

According to delhi government, not all women will be able to take advantage of this scheme. women drawing pension from the government will not get its benefit. Along with this, women who are in government jobs or pay income tax will also not get the benefit of this scheme. According to the rules, only women living in delhi will be able to avail the benefits of this scheme. To avail the benefits of the scheme, women should be above 18 years of age. She will also have to give a self-declaration that she is not availing any government pension or does not pay income tax.
