The BJP's electoral ambitions are on the rise, evident from its recent gains in parliamentary and assembly seats. Transitioning from three to six mp seats and exceeding expectations in the assembly, securing ten seats instead of the predicted six, has emboldened the party to seek further expansion.

Notably, senior bjp leader and former president Somu Veeraju is eyeing a crucial seat, rajahmundry Rural Urban, currently held by the TDP. Despite the clamour surrounding the rajahmundry Rural seat, the Janasena's aspirations were redirected to Nidadavolu, leaving the contest open for other contenders. However, with rajahmundry Urban also in TDP's grasp, BJP's bid for control intensifies.

In east godavari district, Somu Veerraju's aspirations for the rajahmundry mp seat, now held by bjp President Daggubati Purandeshwari, led to speculations of discontent within the party ranks. Reports suggest his absence from party meetings may stem from dissatisfaction over recent losses.

While the tdp proposes offering a vacant seat to bjp, Somu Veeraju remains adamant, preferring a stronghold in rajahmundry over a weaker alternative. The BJP's high command pressures the tdp for concessions, but the latter explores alternative options in Rayalaseema, considering seats in Tamballapalle and Rajampet. Negotiations with the Jana Sena over the Rajampeta seat reflect the intricate dynamics of seat allocation.

Amidst these deliberations, bjp leaders from seema advocate for a fair share of seats, pressing Arun Singh, the party's election in-charge for AP, to secure favorable outcomes. Additionally, the bjp seeks TDP's support for senior leader PVN Madhav's seat in the joint Visakhapatnam district.

As the bjp continues to assert its electoral presence, tensions rise over seat allocations, particularly in the face of Janasena's diminishing prospects. The fate of the rajampet seat remains a subject of intense debate, underscoring the complex negotiations within Andhra Pradesh's political landscape.
