He took party membership in Hyderabad. Tausif Alam joined the majlis party in the presence of party supremo asaduddin owaisi and bihar state president Akhtarul Iman.

It is worth noting that Tausif Alam has been an mla from Bahadurganj assembly constituency four times. In the last 2020 assembly elections, he had to face defeat at the hands of AIMIM candidate Anjar Naimi. However, later Anjar Naimi joined RJD, after which it was being speculated that Tausif Alam would join the Majlis Party.
Tausif Alam had opposed congress MP Dr Javed azad from the stage in the lok sabha elections last year, which was discussed a lot. Not only this, he has expressed his displeasure on the open stage many times regarding the actions of the MP. Tausif Alam is considered to have a good hold in the Bahadurganj assembly constituency.
According to the information received, AIMIM has announced to make him the party candidate from Bahadurganj. By breaking into the congress family, the majlis party has shown that it is going to fight the upcoming assembly elections strongly in Seemanchal once again.
AIMIM will fight alone in Bihar
