Losing your Aadhaar card can be stressful, but thanks to UIDAI’s online services, you can get an e‑Aadhaar PDF right from home in just a few minutes.

Before downloading, make sure you have:
Your 12-digit Aadhaar number (if available) or Enrollment ID (EID) from your acknowledgment slip
Registered mobile number (OTP will be sent here)
Email ID (optional, for e‑Aadhaar delivery)
Tip: Even if your physical Aadhaar is lost, as long as your details are linked with your mobile number, you can download it.
2️⃣ 💻 Visit the Official uidai Portal
Go to the UIDAI Aadhaar download page: https://resident.uidai.gov.in/lost-u-aadhaar
Click “Download Aadhaar”
Choose whether you want to use Aadhaar number or Enrollment ID (EID)
✅ Always use the official uidai website to avoid scams.
3️⃣ ✏️ Enter Your Details
Enter Aadhaar/EID, Full Name, and PIN code
Tick the “I’m not a robot” box for CAPTCHA
Click “Send OTP”
You’ll receive a One-Time Password (OTP) on your registered mobile number.
4️⃣ 🔑 Verify With OTP
Enter the 6-digit OTP received on your phone
Click “Verify and Download”
Your e-Aadhaar PDF will now be ready to download.
⚠️ The PDF is password-protected. The password is the first four letters of your name (as in Aadhaar) in capital letters + birth year. Example: If your name is raj KUMAR and DOB is 1990, the password is RAJK1990.
5️⃣ 🖨️ Print Your e-Aadhaar
Once downloaded, you can:
Print it immediately at home or at a local print shop
Use it digitally — e.g., for bank KYC, government services, or online verification
✅ e-Aadhaar is legally valid and treated the same as the physical copy.
6️⃣ 📱 Download Via mAadhaar App (Optional)
If you prefer your phone:
Download mAadhaar App from google Play or App Store
Register your mobile number
Download your digital Aadhaar for use anywhere
The mAadhaar app can also lock/unlock your Aadhaar, update details, and generate QR codes for easy verification.

Only use official uidai channels
Keep a digital copy stored securely in case your physical card is lost again
📌 Bottom Line
Even if your Aadhaar card is missing, you can:
Download it instantly online
Use it digitally or print a copy
Ensure secure storage for future use
