Tennis star sania mirza has recently launched her talk show, “Serving It Up with Sania”, with farah khan as the first guest.

During promotions, Sania opened up about what keeps her grounded and revealed that she doesn’t get star treatment at home.

Speaking to Zoom, Sania explained her home life:

“You know, when I went home, whether I won or lost, I was treated like a daughter of the house, not like Sania Mirza.”

Even today, she doesn’t experience any red-carpet treatment at her parents’ home.

Her parents make sure she stays in reality, which keeps her grounded despite fame.

Sania added that her home environment always emphasized normalcy:

Despite earning her own money after becoming famous, she had to be home by 12 o’clock.

This was not due to a lack of trust, but for her safety, given the outside world’s atmosphere.

Even if she was at a nightclub, she had to call by midnight to let her parents know she was safe.

She humorously reflected on her Cinderella-like experiences at home:

If she asked to return home an hour later, her mother would stay up waiting.

This system was more for safety than control, reflecting her family’s care and concern.

Sania emphasized the contrast between her public persona and home life:

“You may be sania mirza outside, but here you’re just a daughter.”

Her parents’ approach allowed her to remain humble despite global fame.

By keeping fame separate from family life, Sania highlights the importance of balance, grounding, and normalcy.

The star treatment she receives in the public eye is tempered at home, ensuring she doesn’t lose perspective.

This personal insight sheds light on how family values can shape and stabilize even the most celebrated personalities.
