Actor Daniel balaji, brother of actor murali had begun with a small role in the radhika starrer blockbuster serial Chithi and played menacing villainous roles in movies such as  Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyadu, bigil, etc. Recently, the actor faced heat for acting in a webseries titled 'Godman'. Even the trailer was removed as it faced heat from Hindus.

The actor has now lost another project where shruti haasan is doing the female lead. This will be another web series too. The reason behind this is unknown. But there are sources that he has been avoided to get rid of controversy. The actor is currently working on few tamil movies.
