Medical Magic: Pig's heart into human patient..?

Doctors are like gods to people who save our lives. Through many, many discoveries and efforts, many contributions have been made to mankind. Physicians in America have set a new record in that regard. U.S. surgeons have successfully transplanted a pig's heart into a man suffering from heart disease.
Doctors have successfully transplanted a genetically modified pig heart into a 57-year-old man living in maryland who suffers from terminal heart disease. Three days after the heart transplant, he will be all right said the doctors. The university doctors said that this organ transplant surgery is the first in the world to prove that the heart of a genetically modified animal can function like a real man's heart without being ejected by the man's body.

Doctors said that the patient, David Bennett, will be monitored for the next few weeks to determine if the transplant surgery offers life-saving benefits. Bartley B. Griffith, who surgically replaced the pig's heart, said it was a breakthrough surgery and took us to the next level in resolving the organ shortage crisis.

It is noteworthy that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration granted emergency approval to surgery on New Year's Day through its Extended Access arrangement.
