In Rudrapur, Uttarakhand, Hindu sisters donate 20,424 square feet of land for Muslims to pray. Beiljudi is a village in Uttarakhand's state of Uttarakhand, near Rudrapur. A 4 acre prayer field is adjacent to the mosque near the Dela River Bridge (Eidka). During Eid and Ramadan, some 20,000 Muslims gather here to worship. Lala Brijnandan prasad Rastogi has a property near this location.

He is tolerant of all religions. By donating a section of his land to Eid, he hoped to build the bond between Hindus and Muslims. Lala Brijnandan prasad died in 2003 before her wish could be fulfilled. His sons and daughters split his land. Brijnandan's land donation to Ithaca came as a piece of his daughters Saroj and Anita's inheritance. Saroj currently resides in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, with his family, and Anita in Delhi. At their father's request, they promised to gift their land to Ithaca.

They donated their land a few days earlier after contacting the Kazipur Eidka Committee. Both girls honoured their father's wish 19 years after his death. "We donated the land to Ithaca at our father's request," Saroj explained. Every year, he used to donate to the Ithaca Committee to help with prayer arrangements. He is tolerant to all religions." These Hindu sisters are offering their land to Eid and creating an example of religious harmony at a time when religious disputes are raging across the country.
