Wanda Maximoff's confrontation with the Illuminati is featured in a new promotional film for doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. In the doctor Strange sequel, Elizabeth Olsen reprised her role as Wanda/Scarlet Witch, but this time as a villain. Along with Olden, the film stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and rachel McAdams.
Despite having escaped to another dimension, Wanda pursues stephen Strange (Cumberbatch) and America when she utilises the Darkhold's power to dream walk the body of her Variant in that universe. When Wanda tries to apprehend the couple, she comes into confrontation with the Illuminati, the universe's most powerful heroes. Black Bolt is played by Anson Mount, Captain Carter is played by Hayley Atwell, Reed Richards is played by john Krasinski, Maria Rambeau/Captain Marvel is played by Lashana Lynch, Karl Mordo is played by Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Charles Xavier is played by Patrick Stewart. They can be seen in action in a recent commercial video.
The fifteen-second promotional video, which was uploaded to the Marvel Entertainment YouTube channel, concentrates on Wanda's encounter with the team and encourages fans to see the film again in theatres.
