Many engineers and officers faced many challenges in building this bridge for the last many years, among them was a Muslim officer, who put his life at stake and worked to make this dream come true.

30 years of hard work

According to a report of Dainik Jagran, the name of this officer is Nisar ahmed Mir, who faced every challenge and put everything in this project and today he is most happy on its completion. Nisar ahmed has been associated with this project for about 30 years and he worked on it continuously.

Also faced assault

After passing the railway exam in 1996, Nisar ahmed was posted on this railway project, where he started working as a section officer. So many years passed and finally in 2025, this project has been completed. His job was to provide land for the railway, on which he started working. However, in kashmir, he had to face opposition many times regarding this and even had to face assault.

Threat from terrorists

Nisar Ahmed, who worked on the kashmir railway project, had received threats from local people as well as terrorists, after which his entire family got scared. Seeing these threats, he shifted his family to another place. The terrorists had threatened Mir that if he did not back down from this project, he would be killed. However, despite all this, he continued his work and eventually he was successful in it.
