BSP Chief mayawati posted on instagram and wrote - "The incident of death of many people in the ahmedabad plane crash is very sad and painful. My deepest condolences to the bereaved families, may god give them the strength to bear this sorrow."

At the same time, prime minister Narendra Modi also expressed deep grief over the incident and assured all possible help to the affected. Along with this, Union home minister amit shah and Civil Aviation minister Ram Mohan Naidu have left for ahmedabad to take stock of the situation.
