What sort of response did Sarala's family give you?
The narrative is based on the Sarala persona. We all travelled to the family's home. I was treated like a daughter by Sarala's mother, who held my hand. I became sentimental. I debated going there because I truly wanted to give them some privacy. I received a saree from them. I'll be over the moon thrilled if they enjoy the movie.

What did you think when you first heard the script?
I knew very little about this world. We discussed the happenings at the moment. tamil Nadu is where I was born and raised. There, the situation was different. I learned about the movement, their way of thinking, and the circumstances of the time.

Which component did you like the most?
You will feel satisfied when we play the story that we were unaware of. Known tales won't satisfy you very much.

What was the character sketch that was supplied to you, and how did you initially comprehend the character?
I merely wanted to know how it will be portrayed because we won't know how accurate it is from the writing. You can occasionally use artistic licence in film to make something appear more heroic. We were interested in how realistic it would appear. When I read the script, I thought that was more significant. I was curious to see how much of a natural portrayal it would be. I occasionally like to watch independent and unconventional movies.
