Madhulika Rawat, the wife of Joint Chiefs of Staff Bipin Rawat, has been confirmed dead in a helicopter crash at Coonoor near ooty in tamil Nadu.
The district administration had earlier said that 13 of the 14 passengers had died.

 But dna tests are being done to identify the charred body.

 
One of the survivors is being treated in critical condition.

The helicopter was carrying 14 passengers, including Colonel Harjinder Singh, Naik Gursewak Singh, Jitendra Kumar, Lance Naik vivek Kumar, Sai Teja, and Havildar Satpa


The junior warrant officer pradeep was in the group as a gunner in a military helicopter.
The bodies of the slain have been shifted to the hospital.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called an emergency meeting to discuss the details of the accident.
