Finally speaking out about the Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu sequel to Kamal Haasan's 2006 film, director gautham Menon. The director, who is getting set for the release of his new movie Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu, revealed that he is already working on the sequel and has spoken with kamal haasan about it. gautham was questioned about the rumours surrounding Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu 2 in an interview with the tamil publication Ananda Vikatan.

I now have a turn to tell the tale. I would like finish the movie by the middle of 2023.
