Budget 2023: New savings schemes for women & senior citizens..!

Finance minister nirmala sitharaman has announced new postal savings schemes for women and senior citizens in the Union Budget 2023. Finance minister nirmala sitharaman said that this is the first budget of the amrita era and this budget has been prepared to benefit everyone including farmers and women. The world has recognized the indian economy as one of the brightest. nirmala sitharaman said that our economic growth is expected to be 7% and it is considered as one of the largest economies.
She also announced postal savings schemes for women and senior citizens as an important feature of this budget. A new scheme called Mahila Samman Savings Certificate has been introduced to encourage women to save. A maximum of Rs 2 lakh can be saved for two years. 7.5 percent interest is also given in this scheme. The maximum deposit limit in the Senior Citizen Savings Scheme has been increased from Rs 15 lakh to Rs 30 lakh. This scheme seems to be a piece of good news for all women and senior citizens of India. All women can use this budget 2023 for their future saving scheme.
