Rishi Sunak: I am guided as PM by my Hindu faith!!!

According to Rishi Sunak, his Hindu faith provides him direction in every area of his life and gives him the fortitude to carry out his duties as british prime minister to the best of his ability. Britain's first prime minister of indian descent emphasised the significance of the event coincident with India's Independence Day while paying a visit to the ongoing "Ram Katha" being led by the sage Morari Bapu, Cambridge University.

Sunak began his speech by stating, "I am here today not as the prime minister, but as a Hindu. "Faith is really personal to me. It directs me in all facets of my life. Although it is a wonderful privilege, being the prime minister is a difficult job. According to him, "There are challenging decisions to make and difficult choices to face, and our belief gives me the bravery, power, and endurance to do the finest I can for our nation."

As the first british indian Chancellor in 2020, the 43-year-old leader described the memorable moment when he first lit diwali diyas outside No. 11 Downing Street. The british prime minister pointed to a big golden representation of Lord Hanuman that served as the background to Morari Bapu's ram Katha and said it reminded him of how a golden Ganesha stands happily on my desk at 10 Downing Street.

It serves as a continual reminder to me to pay attention and consider matters carefully before acting, he said. Sunak, who had returned from a family vacation in the US with his wife Akshata Murty, children Krishna, and Anoushka, expressed his pride in being both british and Hindu as he thought back on his formative years in Southampton, when he frequently went to his local temple with family.
