Television serials have been a source of contention in many indian households. However, the obsession with tv serials took a tragic turn for one family, leading to a heartbreaking incident. Ashirvadam, a 40-year-old man, and Nisha, his 36-year-old wife, reside in the Kadambathur area of Tiruvallur district in tamil Nadu. Ashirwadam, a local labourer, works hard to support his family.

When he returns home from work, he enjoys watching tv for blessings. Meanwhile, his wife nisha has a routine of sitting in front of the tv after finishing her household chores. This daily habit of watching tv has led to frequent quarrels between them, usually revolving around the tv remote control. A recent incident unfolded when Ashirwadam returned home one evening and found nisha engrossed in a tv serial.

He requested her to switch to cricket or news, but nisha vehemently refused, refusing to give up control of the remote. This led to a heated argument between the couple, ultimately resulting in Ashirwadam leaving the house in frustration. Despite his plea to stop watching the tv serial, nisha decided to go to her parents' house nearby.

However, when Ashirwadam returned home after midnight, he went directly to the bedroom and tragically took his own life. Nisha, returning to her home in the few hours, was shocked to discover her husband's lifeless body. The police have registered a case of suspicious death in the matter, highlighting the unexpected and tragic consequences of a dispute over a tv remote control that has shaken the local community.
