The official trailer for Family Star, starring Vijay Deverakonda, was unveiled by the film's producers on thursday ahead of its release. Family Star, which is helmed by parasuram Petla, will open in cinemas on april 5.
 
The protagonist, Vijay, is introduced in the teaser as a middle-class, traditional man who enjoys taking care of his family. Vijay's methods eventually start to annoy his wife, Murtal Thakur, and this causes friction in their marriage. But some hazardous things happen. Our "Family Star" now has the responsibility to make amends and keep his people safe.
 
Vijay and Mrunal are collaborating for the first time. However, Family Star marks Vijay's second partnership with filmmaker Parasuram; the two previously collaborated on the 2018 movie geetha Govindham. rohini Hattangadi, Jagapathi Babu, and vennela kishore are among the supporting cast members of the movie.  
 The cinematographer for the picture is KU Mohanann, who has worked on well-known films including Talaash (2012), andhadhun (2018), and Don (2006). AS Prakash is the art director, while Marthand K venkatesh oversees the editing. The film's music director is Gopi Sundar.
