The telugu Desam and Jana Sena diverged when the bjp announced Bhupatiraju Srinivasa varma as its candidate from the narasapuram constituency. Since they were running for raghu Rama krishna Raju, the leaders of the tdp and JSP were not happy that Srinivasa varma received the ticket. As a result, they were absent from Varma's constituency rally.

Following the receipt of his ticket, Srinivasa varma took part in a rally that passed through Aakiveedu and Undi on its way to Bhimavaram. The only people at the gathering were bjp politicians. Leaders of the tdp and JSP failed to appear, and none of their flags were seen throughout the demonstration. The alliance's choice of Srinivasa varma as their mp candidate has been met with opposition. bjp officials, on the other hand, questioned how tdp and JSP could decide on their party's nominee. However, tdp claims that it only granted the bjp the seat after the party's high command pledged to accept raghu Rama krishna Raju as the candidate.

The telugu desam party would run for 17 parliamentary seats and 144 assembly seats as part of the alliance between the andhra pradesh NDA factions. The Jana Sena would run for two seats in the parliament and 21 assembly. The bjp, on the other hand, is running in six parliamentary seats and ten assembly seats.
