Amid the ongoing dispute over water sharing with punjab, the haryana government led by cm Naib Singh saini held an all-party meeting on saturday to discuss the matter. Representatives of bjp, Congress, INLD, Jannayak Janata party (JJP) and AAP participated in it. After the meeting, cm saini said that all the parties have unanimously agreed to work together to find a solution.

After the all-party meeting on Haryana-Punjab water dispute, cm saini said in a press conference, "Today an all-party meeting was held with punjab regarding the water issue and Bhakra Nangal dam. It was discussed seriously in it. All the parties have taken a decision." What did Naib Singh saini say about SYL?

He further said, "Regarding SYL, the supreme court has also said that this water should be given to Haryana. But now, going beyond that, all the parties have expressed deep reaction on drinking water that a solution should be found immediately. All the parties have said that they will work together on this subject.''

saini accused AAP of doing politics

Earlier in the day, cm saini claimed that his state has demanded water in the same quantity and proportion as before. He accused the AAP government of punjab of doing politics on the issue of water sharing.

Attacking the stand of Punjab's bhagwant mann government on this matter, saini said, "If someone comes to our house, we first give him a glass of water and then talk. It is surprising that politics can go to such an extent that even drinking water is questioned." Let us tell you that on May 2, the AAP government in punjab also held a similar all-party meeting, in which various parties including the state unit of bjp showed unity on this issue. The punjab government has refused to give more water to BJP-ruled haryana, giving rise to a new controversy.
