The dark side of 'dream teacher' decoded via WhatsApp
Anna Plaksyuk, the teacher under debate, was 25 years old when the abuse occurred, according to RuNews24. Before the victim's mother eventually discovered this mentor's inappropriate behavior, it continued for four months. When the victim's mother found a series of graphic whatsapp messages and images sent back and forth between her son and the teacher, the abuse became apparent.
After accusing the instructor of "systematic flirting, stroking, and kissing," the victim's mother brought the incident to the attention of the school administration.
A court in the Russian district of Leningrad noted that after Anna Plaksyuk urged the kid to stay after classes and locked the door, "violent acts of a sexual nature" ensued. In addition to forcing the 11-year-old to kiss her on the lips, she also made him touch her chest while making unwanted physical contact with him.
The instructor allegedly emailed the child naked photos and then demanded that her student send her explicit photos, demonstrating that the abuse was not just happening in the classroom. Since her arrest in february of last year, the instructor has been serving her nine-year jail sentence in pre-trial custody, according to a report by RuNews24. In addition, she was prohibited from teaching for an additional year following her release.
According to accounts in the local media, the victim did not appear at school for a while following the teacher's arrest.
But in november 2023, the teacher accused the boy of starting the torture. According to Anna Plaksyuk's statement, the child "made compliments to her" and "shown signs of attention" in the months before the abuse.
"A ban on the imposition of suspended sentences on persons convicted of crimes against the sexual inviolability of minors under 14 years of age," according to the Russian criminal Code, applies to sexual offenses perpetrated against kids.
