Deputy chief minister pawan kalyan and current Cinematography minister kandula durgesh were criticized harshly by former andhra pradesh Cinematography minister perni nani, who referred to the upcoming film hari Hara Veera Mallu as a "flop in the process" and questioned their complaints about the ongoing controversy surrounding its release.

"Pawan kalyan once said, 'Cinema is ours — we take the remuneration we want and sell tickets at the prices we choose,'" perni nani said in a biting attack.  To question us, who are you?  What control does the government have over the film industry?  And now he's accusing the same government-seated film company?

"Kodaliki buddhi cheppi attha theddu naakindi," he said, quoting a rustic telugu adage, suggesting that although pawan kalyan had attacked the previous government's strategy, he was now engaging in far worse activities.

In the middle of the producers-exhibitors standoff, perni nani questioned whether minister kandula durgesh or pawan kalyan had taken the time to talk to theater owners or comprehend their problems.

"Did pawan kalyan give the theater owners a call to inquire about their issues?  Was there anything kandula durgesh tried?  Pawan ought to have delayed the release if he was truly concerned that this ongoing conflict would have an impact on his movie.  "Why complain now?" he said.
Nani added, "This movie is going to be a complete failure.  Why is it causing hungama?

Perni nani criticized the current government of exploiting cinema as a political instrument instead of addressing the structural problems affecting the film industry, calling the government "useless" and the cinematography portfolio "meaningless" under its current leadership.
