Chennai: tamil Nadu chief minister M.K. stalin has stated that both the DMK and the congress party clearly understand that sharing power within the government is not a practical arrangement. His remarks come amid ongoing political discussions surrounding the alliance between the two parties ahead of the upcoming elections.
Addressing reporters in Chennai, the chief minister clarified that while the DMK and congress will continue to work together as alliance partners, there is a mutual understanding regarding the structure of governance. “It is known to us, and it is known to the congress as well, that sharing power in the government will not be feasible,” he said.
Stalin emphasized that the alliance is built on ideological alignment and electoral cooperation rather than expectations of ministerial distribution or joint administration. He reiterated that the partnership between the DMK and congress is based on common principles such as social justice, secularism, and democratic values.
