In a recent employment competition called Sparkplug 2022, Walmart Global Tech india received over 10,000 registrations from 34 engineering institutions all over india, according to Unstop.com, an early talent engagement and hiring platform.

For its summer internship programme, Walmart Global Tech india, the company's technology division, has hired over 150 employees through Unstop.com. According to Unstop, Walmart Global Tech india recently held the Sparkplug 2022 recruitment competition. According to Ankit Agarwal, founder and CEO of Unstop, "overall job listings and applications are at an all-time high on Unstop and for many of our customers." According to Unstop, the company's signature competition, Walmart CodeHers, which was organised on Unstop, assisted in bringing on 400+ female programmers and boosting the proportion of female employees from 35% to 56% in a matter of months. Talented female programmers and developers have registered for almost 100,000 of Walmart CodeHers' two seasons.
