Eat more salt: sodium helps in increasing blood pressure, as it retains water in the body. Salty snacks like salted biscuits, pickles or soups can be very beneficial in case of low BP. 3-5 grams of extra salt a day can be safe, but heart patients should consult a doctor. Eating too much salt can be harmful.

Foods rich in potassium and magnesium: Foods rich in potassium like banana, orange, spinach, and almonds help in stabilizing blood pressure. Potassium corrects sodium imbalance. Food items rich in magnesium like cashews and pulses are also beneficial.

Protein and healthy fat: Eggs, chicken and Eating protein foods like fish improves blood circulation. Healthy fats like almonds, walnuts and ghee also keep energy and blood pressure stable. Healthy fats improve heart health.

Hydration: Lack of water is the main cause of low BP.
