Radha Mohan is one of the notable directors in Kollywood who is known for family oriented movies laced with comedy. Most of his movies convey some soft messages. The director is now back with the movie titled 'Uppu Karuvadu'.

Comedy actor Karunakaran and Nandita Swetha are doing the lead roles. M.S. Bhaskar, Mayilswamy, Saams, Kumaravel, Narayan and Senthil are part of the supporting cast. Mahesh Muthusamy handles cinematography. The movie is produced as a joint venture by Ramjee Narasiman of First Copy Pictures and Radha Mohan’s Night Show Pictures.
Escape Artists Motion Pictures Madhan bagged the distribution rights of the movie. The post production works like re-recording, DI, CG and final mixing were all done within a week. The movie was even censored with clean 'U' certificate.
Now the movie gets a release date too. The movie is squeezing along with other pile of releases on 27th. The next Friday is stuffed with lots of releases and we are unsure which movie can get the momentum.
