Director anand shankar started his career with Vikram prabhu, priya Anand starrer thriller Arima Nambi, and then he made the Lady Superstar Nayanthara - Chiyaan vikram starrer action thriller movie Irumugan.
In 2018 he had directed the Tollywood sensation vijay Deverakonda starrer political entertainer NOTA, a Tamil / Telugu bilingual also starring mehreen pirzada, Sathyaraj, and Nasser in important roles.
The latest speculation is that anand shankar has met Makkal Selvan vijay Sethupathi and narrated a script which the actor liked and it has been expected that Irumugan producer shibu thameens will bankroll this venture as well.
