The latest update is that director turned actor samuthirakani has joined the cast of thalaivi and the strong buzz is that he might be seen playing the role of MGR's personal secretary in the movie. thalaivi co-stars Roja and gentleman fame yesteryear heroine madhubala and will have music scored by GV Prakash. kangana ranaut made her bollywood debut 14 years ago with Anurag Basu’s Gangster, and right from her first film, she captured the interest of the audience.
