As we previously reported, actress Roshini Hariprian has decided to leave the popular 'Bharathi Kannamma' serial, which provided her a significant break in her career. She reportedly had film offers but worried that portraying a mother to two children would hinder her prospects. On Monday, she shot her final scenes and said her goodbyes to the actors and crew. The actress had a huge fan base due to this tamil serial and her dark complexion got a separate fan base.


Fans of 'Bharathi Kannamma' have been wondering who will replace Roshni, and we have learned that performer Nakshathra has agreed on to play Bharathi. Nakshathra is also a well-known actress who has been in series and movies such as 'Oru Oorla Oru Rajakumari,' 'Abhi Tailors,' and 'Yaaradi Nee Mohini.' Actor Akhil, who portrayed Akhilan, has indeed departed 'Bharathi Kannamma,' as has Farina, who plays Venbaa, who is expecting her first baby. It'll be interesting to see how viewers respond to the celebs being swapped, as well as how this affects the show's ratings.


This is nothing new for the channel as already several serials faced these actor swappings as 'Pandian Stores' faced a huge loss in the form of VJ Chitra who committed suicide and later several actors walked out in between itself.
