Anne's The Princess Diaries to get a threequel
Hollywood actress Anne Hathaway's starrer Princess Diaries' threequel is in the works. As soon as its announcement is made, the discussion also started about whether Anne will return as the Princess of Genovia.
According to reports, The Princess Diaries is being scripted by Adrita Mukherjee (who wrote Supergirl) and the story will build on the events of the first two parts, which were released in 2001 and 2004 respectively. Will she be back as Princess of Genovia again?
The film starred Anne Hathaway and Julie Andrews in the lead roles. However, the cast of the threequel has not been announced yet. So it is unclear whether Anne will play the lead role in the third part as well. Whereas, Hathaway has expressed her desire to be a part of the threequel in various interviews over the years. Hathaway also reiterated in an interview in october 2022 that if a threequel is made, she would love to be a part of it. The buzz is that in the third part, Hathaway will be seen teaching her daughter the manners of a princess. Will she be back as Princess of Genovia again?
