Samyuktha is preparing for the big debut of her next movie, Vaathi. In this tamil and telugu bilingual, directed by venky Atluri, she is paired alongside Dhanush. In a recent interview, the actress explained why she dropped the menon from her last name. She stated that she wishes to see love, equality, and humanity all around us.

Samyuktha, who portrays the movie's main character, has been quite busy with promotions. She was asked why she omitted the menon from her last name during an interview. She stated: "I had this concept a long time ago. We need a name for formal purposes when we enrol in school. Therefore, we did not think as much then. I used to wonder why folks have this "tail," as it were. When I started working as an actor, the idea really hit me. I realised I shouldn't have it (surname) after I realised the obligation of an actor."

"Keeping a surname makes it quite contrary to what I want when I want to see equality, humanity, and love all around," she continued. My mother also wanted to drop my father's last name because my parents are divorced. I wanted to be sensitive to my mother's needs.
