Some performers gain weight, some lose it, and some pretend to be bald with prosthetics. Nonetheless, some committed performers don't mind repeatedly tonsuring or shaving their heads in order to fit a part. Though it might be a little harsh coming from a hero, actor Suhaas is unafraid to chop off his hair for a few scenes.

According to the Ambajipet marriage Band preview, Suhaas' character Malligadu has his head tonsured in a scene that takes place during the film's intermission. The actor had his head repeatedly tonsured so that the spirit of the character would come through more naturally; there is no computer generated imagery or other phoney work there.

He is really working on filmmaker Sailesh Kolanu's HIT 2 at the same time that he is filming that scene. The director indicated that he is a little concerned that if the HIT 2 shooting is delayed, Suhaas might not be available for the shoot since he would be getting his skull tonsured. Suhaas is portraying the antagonist in HIT 2 at that point. After Sailesh made this revelation, Suhaas' tonsuring scene gained a lot of attention.

However, supporters of the young actor are really applauding his commitment to making Malligadu come to life. It remains to be seen how the public will react to the teaser.
