In response to all of the abuse aishwarya rai bachchan received for her paris Fashion Week outfit, Richa Chadha responded. Richa told Jist, defending Aishwarya, "Jalte hain log unse (people are jealous of her)." "Sabse khoobsurat mahila hai wo Hindustan ke history ki aajtak ki or mujhe lagta hai unme bohat discipline hai or wo kaafi graceful hai," she said, praising Aishwarya. (She is, in my opinion, the most gorgeous lady in indian history, and she exudes grace and discipline.)"

Aishwarya never criticises other people, Richa added. Richa said, "Kyun tumhe deal karna hai bhai?" in response to a question on how to handle trolls. (Why is dealing with them necessary for you?). Then the 'Fukrey 3' actress said that since they are usually unemployed, one shouldn't be troubled by them. 

Richa said, “Kabhi aap dekhiye kisi ki bitching nahi karti, kuch kharab nahi bolti. Mujhe acchi lagti hain. Bohot shareef, South indian mentality ki, curd rice aur papad khaane wali lady hain voh (She never bitches about anyone, never says anything bad. I like her. She’s very innocent, has a South indian mentality and eats simple curd rice with papad).”

The actress continued, “Karte rahe troll log unko. Kya farak padega? Kyu tumhe deal karna hai bhai? Meri baat suno, Chintu chandigarh main baith ke kya soch raha hai tumhe kya farak padega? Chintu tumhare aage aa gaya tum usse chaprasi na rakho apne ghar main. Kya farak padta hai? Chintu apni bhadaas nikal raha hai, uske peeche usko pain feel ho raha hai, uske paas naukri nahi hai, uski mummy LPG se chulhe pe aa gayi hain. Chintu kya karega? ‘Inki dress acchi nahi hai.’ Okay (Let them keep trolling, who cares what a random person thinks? people are unhappy with their lives so this is what they do. Okay.)”
