The telugu cinema industry is preparing for a big release festival in the second week of january, which will usher in the extremely lucrative Sankranthi season. 2024 is drawing us quickly. According to trade circles, the main issue at the moment is that "six" pictures are definitely aiming for the season without missing any, as shown by several recent announcements.

First and foremost, Mahesh Babu's guntur Kaaram, which locked on january 12th, is the big deal for Sankranthi 2024. The HanuMan of young hero Teja Sajja likewise locked in the same date and reaffirmed their intention to arrive on that day, no matter what. Next, the 13th of january has been secured for both Saindhav by venkatesh and Family Star by Vijay Devarakonda. As of right now, Raviteja's Eagle is confirmed for the same day. Next is Nagarjuna's Na Saami Ranga, which is scheduled for the 14th or 15th of the following few days. The first thing that springs to mind when these six films are up for grabs is whether telugu states' cinemas from tollywood can handle showing all of these flicks.

The first is that these films will undoubtedly compete with one another's commerce, even if they all receive positive reviews. This is akin to eliminating the theatre industry in that the companies who receive mediocre press will be crushed, and the companies that receive flop press, if any, will be eliminated from the single screens in a matter of days. At this point, everyone is expressing optimism regarding the release date because each of these films is backed by a major distributor with a sizable theatre network.

However, it's important to consider the viewpoint of the audience as well, as they will only select the Top 3 films that garner positive buzz and not be interested in seeing six films in a short amount of time. The average middle-class audience will have enough money for three films at most per person, or around ₹1000 rupees, even if they all receive blockbuster buzz. It is therefore important for distributors and producers to consider this factor before announcing a release date.
