NCW Had Asked tamil Nadu DGP To Take Action Against Mansoor ali Khan
Mansoor ali Khan was arrested just days after the National Commission for women (NCW) requested that the tamil Nadu DGP take action against the actor. "The National Commission for women is deeply concerned about actor Mansoor ali Khan's disparaging remarks about actress trisha Krishna." We are acting on our own initiative in this case, instructing the DGP to use IPC Section 509 B and other applicable statutes. "Such remarks normalize violence against women and must be condemned," said the NCW in a statement last month.

A video recently became popular on social media in which Mansoor ali Khan remarked in tamil, "When I heard I was acting with trisha, I assumed there would be a bedroom scene in the film." I expected to carry her to the bedroom like I had done with numerous actresses in my previous films. I've done a lot of rape scenarios, so it's nothing new to me. But these folks didn't even show trisha to me on the sets of the kashmir filming."
