In 2021, he was affected by Covid, and due to this he kept fighting for life and death in the hospital for 57 days. His journey has been quite emotional. Now the actor has talked about this and he cried while remembering that difficult time.

While talking to Dainik Bhaskar, he told me about his days of struggle. The actor became emotional while narrating his painful story. Regarding the time of Covid, he told, 'I stayed there for 57 days. When 57 days passed? You are lying in a diaper like a small child. There were injections in the hands at various places. It was a very bad life. I started feeling that I would not survive. It had been a month and a half. When I started making video calls, I felt as if I was seeing them all for the last time. Those who have lost their close ones know this pain. The rest of the people got cured even after drinking hot water.' But then when Anirudh recovered, he worked on himself again and made himself fit. Regarding working in films, he said that no matter how good work you do on tv, it is not visible to the film directors. However, he kept trying.
