There were reports that the Rajinikanth-starrer Coolie will be released without a trailer. lokesh was also asked about it. In response, he put an end to the rumors by saying that the trailer of Coolie will be released on august 2.
In an interview with The hollywood Reporter YouTube channel, the question was raised whether the film Coolie will collect a thousand crores. lokesh replied, "I cannot say whether the film will collect a thousand crores. But I can say one thing for sure. It will be a worthwhile film for those who pay 150 rupees to watch the film. If it collects a thousand crores, it will be happy. It will be good for the producers and the crew. But I cannot write a story to collect 1000 crores. It has to happen automatically," he said. The two people who should worry about the box office collection are the producer and the hero. The hero depends on the box office for his market. After this, there are the directors. All three of them will get their salary for the next film based on the status of the previous film. If I am currently paid 50 crores for the film Coolie, it is because of the film Leo. Loki has said that I got 3 times more salary for Coolie than the salary I received for that film because the film collected 600 crores and was a huge success.

I will be directing Kaithi 2 immediately after the release of Coolie. Apart from this, I have the idea of making vikram 2 with Kamal Haasan, Rolex with Suriya, and Leo 2 and master 2 for Vijay Anna. But he had gone into politics by then. I cannot say for sure which of these films will happen and when. It depends on the call sheet of the actors.
