A major accident has happened on the set of Ranveer Singh's film 'Dhurandhar'. The shooting of the film was going on in Ladakh, and meanwhile, the members got food poisoning. In such a situation, more than 100 members of the unit have been admitted to a hospital in Leh. An official said that about 600 people had eaten food there before the incident. After this accident, the shooting of 'Dhurandhar' has stopped.
The film unit workers were busy shooting for an upcoming film when many of them suddenly started experiencing severe stomach pain, vomiting, and headaches. They were immediately rushed to Sajal Narboo Memorial (SNM) Hospital in Leh, where doctors said it was a case of mass food poisoning.
More than 100 members are hospitalised
Confirming the incident on the sets of 'Dhurandhar', officials said on Monday, 'More than 100 members of a bollywood film crew were hospitalised in Leh after a suspected case of food poisoning late sunday evening. Food samples have been taken for detailed analysis to ascertain the cause.'
All patients are stable
A senior doctor said, "We effectively controlled the rush of patients. police also took action to control the crowded emergency ward and prevent chaos." Doctors have confirmed that all the patients are stable and most of them have been discharged after treatment. More information is awaited about the condition of the rest of the crew and the results of food security tests.
Star cast and release date of 'Dhurandhar'
Lead actor ranveer singh of the film 'Dhurandhar' has been in Ladakh for the last few weeks for the outdoor shooting of the film. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film stars actors like ranveer singh, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, arjun Rampal, and Akshay Khanna, along with sara arjun and Rakesh Bedi in supporting roles. The film will be released in theaters on 5 december 2025.
