Kiku Sharda Breaks Silence on Rumors of Leaving The kapil sharma Show
Kiku Sharda, one of the most beloved comedians on The kapil sharma Show, recently addressed rumors about his departure from the show.
In an interview with india Today, Kiku clarified that he has no plans to leave the show and remains strongly associated with the team.
He confirmed that shooting for the new season of The Great indian kapil sharma Show will begin soon.
Although there's no confirmed air date yet, he mentioned that the show might return to television sometime in november 2025.
No Exit from Kapil’s Team
Kiku addressed the media speculation that arose during his appearance on the reality show "Rise and Fall", hosted by Ashneer Grover.
He explained that the rumors of his exit started while he was filming the show.
On hearing the news, Kiku said, “People were so upset, and I didn’t even know how the rumor spread.”
He emphasized that he has been working with Kapil for over 13 years, and he has turned down multiple job offers just to remain part of the show.
“Going on stage, joking around, and interacting with people and celebrities – that’s fun and something I can’t give up,” he added.
A New Experience on “Rise and Fall”
Kiku shared that participating in Rise and Fall gave him a fresh creative challenge.
He said that while weekends can be stressful with fights and negativity, comedy offers much-needed relief.
“When I perform, I feel free. The audience feels that too—it’s a beautiful exchange,” Kiku shared.
He continues to see comedy as his passion and a vital part of his life.
