Finally, after long time, Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu has visited the Idupulapaya village in Kadapa district. This is the private estate of Late Chief Minister Y.S.Rajasekar Reddy.
Naidu went to Idupulapaya to participate in the convocation of the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) which was established during YSR period. Naidu while passing, visited the gravestone of YSR and the land also belongs to YSR family. This is just an aerial visit and he never paid any personal visit.
This is the first time Naidu has visited Idupulapaya. Even during death of USR, Naidu never went to his 'Samadhi' to pay last respects. The former Chief Minister died in a tragic chopper crash.
Seems Naidu had no information that YSR had donated over 1,000 acres of land owned by his family at Idupulapaya to the government. Most of the people in the village said that Naidu should at least have visited the Samadhi to pay homage. This is just a small courtesy from the TDP president.
