Not that he has vanished, but after Baahubali Rajamouli is topped as the number one director in the film industry. Shankar and Rajamouli are considered equal competitors in the viewer point of view in general. So this is what Rajamouli’s father Vijayendra Prasad has opined about the Tamil director Shankar.
When asked if he would like to work with Shankar in case he approaches for a strong story, he said, he himself would approach Shankar sir with folded hands(a sign of humbleness) asking him to listen to his story and narrate it. Wow! so simple he is, which is why he is a great writer. Currently, on the work front, Vijayaendra Prasad is penning sequels for Vikramarkudu and Mudhalvan in Hindi.
