It is not constitutionally mandated: mamata banerjee on not visiting sonia Gandhi

The Recent happenings between mamata banerjee and congress President sonia gandhi had seen a little tension between them. congress leaders into TMC, goa Politics entry had been few tensions between them. mamata banerjee, chief minister of West bengal had made an official visit to delhi on wednesday to meet prime minister Modi. She said on wednesday that she is not going to meet congress President sonia Gandhi. The Chief head of trinamool congress responded that it is not constitutionally mandated that she should meet congress Leader sonia gandhi always when she comes to Delhi.
                   She also said she has taken time to visit only PM Modi this time. All the leaders are busy in punjab polls and work is always important. She even questioned that why she always has to meet sonia gandhi during her visit. During her meeting with PM Modi, she addressed the BSF's jurisdiction with him. The Latest situation came for congress in meghalaya where 12 MLAs joined Trinamool Congress.
The last few months saw many leaders joining Trinamool Congress. mamata also explained the expansion plans for TMC which are underway.
