In Egmore court, an office assistant was arrested for stealing a court seal. The chennai Egmore court Complex houses the 6th Metropolitan criminal Arbitration Tribunal. This court's date stamp has recently been stolen. Maduravalli, the court's interpreter, filed a complaint with the Egmore police station.

The police filed a report and began an investigation after receiving the complaint. They also took film from surveillance cameras mounted in the courtroom and studied it. Vivekanandan, 48, of C Block, Thadander Nagar, Saidapet, who was employed as an office assistant in the court, was identified as the thief. As a result, Vivakanandan was arrested and placed in detention by the police yesterday. Vivekananda had been fired before, according to an earlier investigation, for allegedly taking liquor bottles that had already been confiscated by the police and given over to the court in connection with the case.

For the previous many months, those who have been transferred have not even been paid. Over 200 instructors at Pachaiyappan Foundation colleges have been denied promotions. The Associate director of college Education also addressed a letter to the Foundation's Secretary, claiming that if the list was delivered, he would be promoted immediately.
