K.T. Rama Rao, the minister for municipal administration, promised victims hurt in the flyover disaster at the Bairamalguda intersection that the State government will cover all of their medical bills. The minister saw the injured people on wednesday at kims hospital and promised them the full assistance of the government.

He described the situation as tragic and stated that a thorough investigation will be carried out to determine the true cause of the accident by a three-member internal inquiry team led by the Engineer-in-Chief of the ghmc and by JNTU University. Rama Rao stated that harsh action will be taken if any proof of carelessness on the side of the working agency surfaced.

Following the release of a video of the tragedy, the motorbike that slammed into the rails of the city's newest and fastest overpass, killing the rider, is proving to be extremely puzzling. Y. ashok Manikanta (25), a truck driver from prakasam in Andhra Pradesh, was driving a bike when the accident occurred in the afternoon on tuesday on the Balanagar flyover, which was just opened two weeks ago. The truck driver collided with the side safety railing of the flyover, fell off the bike, and was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
