Students who want to pursue different diploma courses have a strong demand for the government polytechnic institutes. The telangana State Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (TS POLYCET) 2023 first phase seat assignment was revealed on Sunday. There are 13,321 places in 56 government polytechnics, however 11,648 seats (87.44%) have been given. Out of 16,075 seats, 60 private polytechnics received 60.46 percent of them. Out of 29,396 seats total, 116 polytechnic institutions in the State have assigned 72.69 percent of them.

In the TS POLYCET 2023, a total of 80,358 applicants qualified, and 25,160 of them exercised web options. Two polytechnic colleges, one public and one private, both reported 100% seat allocation. All places for the diploma programme in cyber physical systems and security have been filled, branch-wise. Likewise, 62 of the 65 available spots in biomedical engineering were filled. Over 90% of seats were filled for the diploma programmes in computer science and engineering, chemical engineering, electronics and video engineering, home science, and artificial intelligence and machine learning.

On or by june 29, candidates who were offered a seat should self-report online and pay their fees on the website https://tspolycet.nic.in/. If candidates don't self-report online or don't pay the money by the deadline, the provisional seat allocation order is immediately revoked. Between July 7 and July 10, all applicants with provisionally reserved seats are required to report to their respective universities; otherwise, the reserved seat is forfeited. The academic year will start on July 7; orientation sessions will take place from July 7 to July 14; and classwork will start on July 15.
