He says that the first step of this law will be to end gender discrimination in any religion. The inequality against women in all religions can be ended by this law.
Faizan mustafa told that Hindu women have got many rights after the reform in Hindu law. But there is still room for improvement. The first attempt of reform was to give equal status to both Hindu men and Hindu women. Now the aim of UCC is to bring similar equality among men and women of all religions.
