Following Friday's repair work at Anantharam, the road between jagtial and Dharmapuri was once again accessible. As flood water surged from the road dam close to Anantharam, the connection of the roads was hampered. The route had been blocked off by police barriers. On Friday, collector Yasmeen Basha and collector Dr. Sanjay Kumar went to the location to look at the damage. On Friday, traffic was restored after the repair work was expedited.
Speaking at the event, the collector said that the torrential rains in rural regions had damaged roads, culverts, tanks, agricultural crops and transit infrastructure. Alternative arrangements were established in addition to beginning the restoration of damaged roads with the assistance of several departments.


An excavator assisted a pregnant lady on thursday as she was transported across a flooded road to a hospital close to Ramalingapet in the Meddipalli mandal. The woman's relatives attempted to have her transported to a hospital in korutla when she started having birth pains. However, they were unable to cross the road since flood water was crossing it close to the settlement. The woman was able to cross the road with the aid of an excavator thanks to the village sarpanch, who was approached by the helpless family members. She was afterwards transported to korutla hospital in an ambulance that was waiting on the opposite side of the street.
