Flood in Godavari is exhibiting retreating tendency, although still it is over the danger line at spots. River Wardha, a tributary of Godavari is running above the danger threshold of 160.95 metres near Sirpur town in adilabad district. N Venkateswarlu, chief engineer, says that despite this, there won't be any significant concern because the flood flow is decreasing at all downstream locations save for Bhadrachalam.

At lakshmi Barrage, the flood level remained at about 10.10 lakh cusecs. The inflows at the Saraswati and parvathi barrages are around 3.33 and 1.5 lakh cubic seconds, respectively. They also kept their outflows at the same level. 2.66 lakh cusecs were flowing into the Sripada yellampalli project. A team of inspectors under the direction of the responsible engineer in chief evaluated the inflows and outflows of the project. In the project, the live storage is kept at 14 tmc while the gross storage capacity is 20.17 tmc.

There were around 75000 cusecs and 10,000 cusecs of inflows into the nizam sagar and Sriramsagar projects, respectively. At Dummugudem Anicult, the inflows and outflows were measured at 14.87 lakh cusecs. Godavari's flood flow in Bhadrachalam, where the river was flowing beyond the 53-foot danger level, is more than 15.02 lakh cubic seconds. With the exception of Nagarjunasagar, all of the main projects in the krishna river Basin have begun to receive inflows. Over 1.85 lakh cusecs are being added to the srisailam project daily, adding more than 16 tmc to its active storage. More than 1.90 lakh cusecs have entered the Jurala project. The condition at all of the big and medium projects in the basin has been constantly observed by state officials.
