Grand festival Preparations Begin

The famous Kanyakumari Bhagavathi Amman temple is preparing for the upcoming Vaikasi Visakam festival, one of the most important annual celebrations at the temple.

As part of the festival rituals, the flag-hoisting ceremony (Kodiyetram) is scheduled to take place on the 21st of this month, marking the formal beginning of the ten-day festivities.

Unique tradition of Flag Rope Procession
