delhi chief minister arvind kejriwal on monday approved to increase the circle rate of agricultural land and land located near yamuna barrage. Revenue minister Atishi gave this information. In a press conference here, the minister said that the circle rate of agricultural land has been increased for the first time since 2008 in Delhi.The minister said that the notification of increase in district-wise fixed circle rates will be issued after the approval of Lieutenant governor VK Saxena.He said that the new circle rate for agricultural land in South delhi and New delhi will be Rs 5 crore per acre. It will be Rs 3 crore per acre in North delhi and South West delhi districts and Rs 2 crore per acre in Central Delhi. The circle rate of farmers' land in delhi since 2008 was Rs 53 lakh per acre.

Delhi cm post - Meanwhile, delhi chief minister arvind kejriwal tweeted in this matter, “The farmers of delhi have been demanding for a long time that the rates of their agricultural land should be increased. A few years ago, we had also extended it, but due to some reasons, it could not be implemented at that time. Today I am happy to inform all the farmers of delhi that your demand has been fulfilled." The circle was constantly trying to increase the rates.
